Job Responsibilities

We are excited to announce an opening for a Guest Services Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at Fairmont St. Andrews. We seek an enthusiastic individual who can ensure that all guest requirements are promptly addressed, belongings are safeguarded, and that our hospitality remains at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a constant presence in the hotel lobby, ensuring all guests and visitors receive a warm welcome, thereby creating an outstanding first impression. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the local area, including tourist attractions, business venues, and local events to assist both leisure and business travelers during their stay. Oversee the responsibilities of the hall porters regarding luggage delivery, collection, storage, and valet parking services, thus establishing a friendly and efficient communication hub. Facilitate the training and development of team members. Stay informed about group and VIP arrivals. Keep abreast of short-term business trends. Arrange bookings for tours, golf, restaurants, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Serve as a travel information center by booking and confirming airline tickets, arranging car services, ordering taxis, and advising on transport routes to meet guests' travel needs. Manage and supervise the parking of guests' vehicles in accordance with the hotel's parking arrangements. Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Concierge Manager. Qualifications
Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred. Supervisory experience is essential. Must be eligible to work in the UK. Additional Benefits
