We're recruiting for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join our Service Desk team.

You'll act as the first point, responsible for logging, troubleshooting and resolving service tickets within the EUS Desk, primarily covering the Microsoft Stack.


Day to day you will:

  • Respond to 1st line queries via telephone and the Service Desk ticket system
  • Troubleshoot, manage and resolve End User Support queries in line with agreed SLAs
  • Support hardware rollouts of Thin Clients, Desktops & Laptops, assisting
  • Onboarding new customer assets into the LIMA End User Support Service Desk
  • Ensure that tickets are fully and accurately documented in real time, from logging to closing
  • Communicate any issues to Service Desk Coordinator and Team Lead
  • Provide excellent levels of service to our customers
To be successful you should have skills or knowledge of these technologies:

  • Active Directory
  • Office 365 Administration
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Group Policy
  • Basic Network and Hardware issue diagnostics
  • Anti-Virus and other enduser security systems
  • Basic Service Desk procedures such as New Starter Processes
It would be even better if you had experience working with the ITIL framework or knowledge of its principles.
