Job Title: Information Technology Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team at Spectrum IT Recruitment. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal business users, ensuring that they have access to the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 1st and 2nd line diagnostics to resolve technical issues
  • Set up new users, build laptop and PC hardware, configure software and VPN access
  • Adhere to ISO processes to deliver high-grade IT and customer support
  • Ensure all tickets are resolved or escalated
  • Train and support new users across software and IT services
  • Interact with globally dispersed end-users

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a 1st and/or 2nd line IT Support role and management of P1 and P2 incidents
  • Experience of using an IT ticketing system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, software, and their components in a business environment
  • Knowledge of Office365 including Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Proven troubleshooting skills
  • Proven working knowledge of operating systems (Windows primarily) and ISO standards
  • Team player with a strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work
