Job Summary
Working as a member of the Admin Team you will provide a high standard of support within the Practice.

We are looking for an individual to specialise in the coordination of requests from patients for appointments and advice via our 'askmygp' online system.

This is a computer based role and therefore requires a high standard of IT competence.

You will be expected to use reasoning and judgement skills to make appropriate decisions and effectively manage multiple tasks and systems.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Sort requests using the 'askmygp' online system appropriately to clinicians
  • Solve administrative requests from patients
  • Telephone/message patients to arrange bookings as per the clinician request
  • Broad identification of urgent requests e.g. poorly babies and young children
  • Facilitate patients using the askmygp system for the first time
  • Manage ID verification
  • Be aware of data confidentiality
  • Assist the Reception team answer the phones during busy times
  • Complete tasks sent by the GPs
  • Other administrative tasks as appropriate to the role

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

£10.50 per hour
