We are looking for a confident Office Administrator to be responsible for day to day general admin tasks, liaising with customers and suppliers, inputting orders as well as keeping up with deadlines and issues in our production teams.

The applicant we are looking for must be confident, diligent, a good communicator and be competent in using Word and Excel.


This is a fast paced environment and requires someone who is organised and able to take initiative to ensure smooth running.


Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls
  • Input customer orders onto our bespoke software
  • Purchasing of nontimber items
  • Produce delivery note and loading sheets for our drivers daily delivery routes
  • Liaise with customers regarding orders, quality and sizes
  • Help resolve any issues that arise in our production departments
  • Ad hoc duties as required

  • Confident at using all aspects of Microsoft office including MS Word and Outlook
  • Team player, supportive of colleagues
  • Positive attitude and approachable
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently and accurately under pressure ensuring good time management
  • Can adapt quickly to different situations
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Build good relationships with all departments

Salary:
£26,000.00 per year
