The post holder will deliver on CACT's mentoring programmes. The mentoring programmes are for young people who have been identified as either already being involved in crime or being at risk of becoming involved in crime.

Deliver on CACT's mentoring programmes. The mentoring programmes are for young people who have been identified as either already being involved in crime or being at risk of becoming involved in crime.
Use different monitoring systems such as onside and salesforce to capture and share relevant data to key stake holders.
Work with young people who need support (one to one and/or group) and co-ordinate enrichments activities.
Work closely with line managers and CACT's triage lead to highlight young people that should be on the programme.
Ensure all activities are correctly monitored with the appropriate risk assessments, safeguarding, and health and safety procedures put in place.
To provide a programme of early intervention, mentoring and support for the young people to guide them away from negative behaviour and its associated outcomes.
Undertake quality assurance to ensure sessions are delivered to the highest standard e.g. QA visits and casual management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- To provide 1-1 and group mentoring on different mentoring programmes.
- Deliver a range of positive group enrichment, residentials and diversionary activities for young people.
- To work as part of a team alongside CACT's Mentoring programme for children and youngpeople.
- Deliver diversionary activities in the boroughs including staffing.
- Deliver support to a pool of casual mentors to deliver mentoring and enrichment activities.
- Support the monitoring and evaluation process of the programme and compile evidence on the programme's progress.
- Support with writing reports demonstrating impact to key funders
- Plan and deliver a range of lifestyle workshops for programme participants, covering a range of issues including health awareness, positive mental health, equality and diversity, and critical thinking.
- Ensure that all requirements under Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection and Safeguarding are implemented and comply with CACT policies and procedures, in order to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all young people, staff and volunteers involved in the programme.
- To undertake any other relevant duties related to the further development, promotion, and sustainability of the organisation as set by CACTs risk and violence reduction manager.
