Our client, The A.E.D.A. Alliance (Advocates of Empowerment, Development and Achievement), is a forward-thinking company offering specialized services in the care sector. They focus on enhancing the quality of life for children and young individuals in social care.

They consist of a team of experienced professionals in the social care field, including independent social work practitioners, care owners, therapists, educators, and senior residential staff.

Currently, they are in need of a Support Worker located in Kingston.



Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in the Care Sector with children and young individuals.
  • Familiarity with the 5 Accomplishments.
  • Understanding of the diverse needs of young people, including those with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging requirements.
  • Awareness of topics such as sexuality, sexual abuse, CCE, CSE, and child protection.
  • Completion of Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression Training.
  • Training in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated.

  • Reliable and dedicated.
  • Available for evening and weekend shifts.
  • Possession of a Current Enhanced DBS Certificate or registered on the DBS Update Service.
Qualifications Requirements

  • N.V.Q. Level 3 or higher in Children and Young People.
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
Monday - Sunday, Day & Night Shifts:
08:00 - 20:00 Days
20:00 - 08:00 Nights (Sleeping & Waking)

Rate:
