About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Hub Casual Worker to join our team at Achieving for Children. As a Family Hub Casual Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families with multiple needs and providing a safe and welcoming environment for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload effectively and engage with referred families to provide support and guidance.
  • Provide creche support for children and families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Lead in providing sessions and activities that promote opportunities for children and their families to engage proactively.
  • Ensure corporate safeguarding procedures and practices are followed at all times.
  • Provide administrative support for Family Hub sites, including outreach sites, as required.
  • Be the first point of contact for families and professionals, providing information, support, and signposting as relevant.
Requirements
  • Education to NVQ L3 or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience of direct working within a childcare setting, education, social services, or voluntary sector.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of children, families, and professionals.
  • Able to keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience of general administrative and front-of-house duties in a busy, customer-focused environment.
