The Opportunity


The individual be helping the team to provide essential support to our Sectors and Teams in the Firm as well as across the wider generalist HR team.

The varied nature of this role means that as well as providing key administrative support, you will also have a business facing role requiring you to liaise and build key relationships across the firm.


Key responsibilities

General duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with general HR administration over the employee life cycle
  • Assist with generating correspondence relating to contract changes, end of probation, probation extensions, sickness absence, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave, capability, disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management smart working and flexible working letters.
  • Maintaining employee files and HR filing system, file archiving.
  • Provide note taking support at performance management and employee relations meetings as and when required.
  • Assist with the starter and leaver process for SK people, including checklists and the preparation of paperwork.
  • Inputting employee updates on personal details, contacts, resources and leave amendments.
  • Supporting the Knowledge and Learning Manager in relation to L&D projects.
  • Assist with HR projects, as discussed and agreed on ad hoc basis
  • Work with the Recruitment team during the recruitment process for example scheduling interviews and distributing interview packs as well as assisting with recruitment projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR / similar role is required.
  • Keyboard skills/IT literate including Office 2010, Excel, HR System
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail
