We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team at Wilson James. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR team with administrative tasks, recruitment, and operational administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including advertising job vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Support the development of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR team to deliver exceptional customer service to employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files and databases.
- A competitive salary starting from £26,000, depending on experience.
- Annual leave of 25 days per year, plus Bank Holidays.
- 8.5% bonus.
- Shift pattern working 9 days across 2 weeks, Monday to Friday on week one, and Monday to Thursday on week two.

- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised and fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Preferred candidate will be CIPD qualified to level 3, working towards or willing to undertake training.
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work history required for vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- You must complete CITB Operative HSE test before start.
- The site is located remotely, and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
