On those two core beliefs we are an award winning business based in West Bromwich looking to recruit an experienced Office Assistant to join our expanding team.

No two days will be the same and this is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised.

The Purpose of the Role
This role will encompass a combination of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promptly and efficiently deal with incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Involvement in a variety of projects
  • Interacts with clients and visitors in line with company standards
  • Signs for delivered packages and distributes them to the appropriate recipient
  • Maintains stock supplies when required
  • Performs a series of clerical duties, including but not limited to, mailing and filing correspondence, and answering calls
  • Drafting letters when required
  • Interact with other stakeholders within the business
  • Directors, HR and Finance
  • May be required to maintain and setup up spreadsheets
  • Scan documents when required
  • Maintain a tidy and organised environment
  • Performs additional duties when required

Personal Attributes

  • Must have at least 2 years experience working within an office based environment
  • Comfortable with technology and data inputting
  • Experience working on Microsoft Office programmes
  • Client focused approach
  • Excellent customer service skills, confident liaising with Clients and strong communication skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail and a critical eye for accuracy, with a 'right first time attitude'.
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines with flexible approach
  • Be an 'ambassador' for the business and build and grow relationships with key Clients
  • Able to prioritise in order to get the job done
  • Take ownership of the task in hand
  • Use of initiative and able to work proactively
  • Awareness and understanding of importance of client perception
