Charitable/capital Assistant

The successful applicant will support the Charitable Funds/Capital team in the effective provision of Financial Services for the Trusts Charity, the Trust and its subsidiary companies, by producing financial information in accordance with strict timetables and short deadlines
Ensure Charitable Funds are utilised in line with their agreed purpose and in accordance with the Approved fund signatory list, Standing Financial Instructions and Financial Procedure Notes
Ensure the Charitable Funds accounting database is kept up to date and reconciled to the Charity bank account and Oracle general ledger system
Assist with producing quarterly reports for the Charitable Funds Committee. These monitor movements in income and expenditure and provide an analysis of major movements
Assist with monthly Charity Bank Account reconciliations
Deal with queries from hospital staff, other NHS staff, private individuals, external bodies
Assist with monitoring the Trusts Capital expenditure as required
Assist with updating the Trusts Asset Register as required
Assist with accountancy functions involving the Oracle financial system when required.
Experience of working in an office environment would be desirable however full training will be provided.
