Assistant Accountant

Our client who specialises in construction has enlisted FRS to support with the recruitment of a Assistant Accountant, to join their busy team based in Wellingborough on a full time permanent basis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales invoices for the various revenue streams of the business.
  • Credit control.
  • Resolve customer queries.
  • Complete revenue recognition reconciliations.
  • Process credit card transactions.
  • Provide admin support to the business.
  • Assist Head of Finance with adhoc tasks.

Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years experience working in an accounts department.
  • Strong Communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Good Excel skills including basic formulas.
  • Credit control experience.
  • Experience with NAV accounting system.
  • Experience with OCR technology.
  • Experience with revenue recognition.
  • Pivot and look up in Excel experience.
This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

In return my client can offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum dependent on experience, plus benefits.
