Credit Controller Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with a focus on Credit Control and Accounts Payable to join our finance team within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Control: Monitor and manage the company's accounts receivable ledger, assess customer credit applications, and establish credit limits.
  • Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices with accuracy, match purchase orders with invoices, and prepare and process payment runs.
  • General Accounting Support: Assist with financial reports, audit documentation, and ad-hoc projects, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Requirements:
  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in credit control and accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in Sage Line 50 cloud and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
