Group Accounting Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Group Accountant to join our client's well-established Finance function at their Head Office in Wellingborough. The Group Accountant will provide a combination of accounting and tax support to the Group Accounting and Tax Manager who leads the Group Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate financial representation.
- Banking Support: Provide day-to-day banking assistance across the Group, ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Compliance: Assist with SAO compliance across all Group companies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Tax Support: Collate business information for tax computations, including the R&D claim, to ensure accurate tax submissions.
- Cash Tax Forecasting: Prepare quarterly cash tax forecasting for payment on account purposes, ensuring timely tax payments.
- Employee Expenses: Manage employee expense claims and company credit card processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Statutory Audit: Assist with the annual statutory audit and accounts process for Group and family companies, ensuring accurate financial representation.
