Main Duties of the Job
- To manage a caseload by applying evidence-based and user-centered principles for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- To plan and execute appropriate discharge procedures and liaise with relevant agencies.
- To provide guidance to unregistered staff through supervision.
- To contribute to the enhancement of the hospital's Occupational Therapy Service.
- To supervise Occupational Therapy students during their placements.
- To collaborate with community mental health teams and care partners to ensure seamless transitions for service users.
- To enhance skills and knowledge through training, sharing insights with the team.
- To engage in supervision and appraisal processes.

Southern Health is a prominent NHS Foundation Trust, focusing on mental health, learning disabilities, and community-based healthcare. With over 7000 employees and a presence across more than 200 locations in Hampshire, we are dedicated to offering top-notch healthcare services to various communities while prioritizing patients and staff.
