Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Occupational Therapist to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a Children's Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy assessment, advice, and interventions to children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Hold a caseload of children with complex needs and provide specialist occupational therapy assessment, advice, and interventions.
- Screening and Triage: Screen and triage referrals and ensure a strengths-based approach to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Case Management: Provide case management of an identified caseload of children and young people with highly complex long-term conditions and complex needs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, schools, and community services to provide a comprehensive service to children and their families.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration: Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience: Experience of working with children and young people or relevant demonstrable transferable skills.
