Duties:

  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take drink orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Utilize retail math skills to accurately calculate prices and handle cash transactions
  • Operate a cash register to process payments and provide accurate change
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware
  • Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, offering suggestions, and resolving any issues or complaints
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods preferred but not required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Must be at least 18 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective location)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 4-8 per week

£9.00-£11.00 per hour
