Department DescriptionnThe Human Resource team is a small but growing team who are supporting Allica Bank and its employees to reach their goals.

Role DescriptionnThe role of HR Administrator at Allica Bank will be responsible for supporting the HR Business Partners, and wider HR Team with all aspects of HR administration.

The HR Administrator will support the HR function ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and initiatives and will play a key part in enabling the implementation of HR strategy by supporting both managers and employees as we continue to grow the bank.


The role requires a detailed-oriented individual with strong organization and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

nPrincipal Accountabilities

HR AdministrationnSupport all aspects of the employee lifecycle including coordinating the onboarding and offboarding processesnProvide support on the reporting of issues, including the pre-employment screening processes and escalates situations as appropriate when in doubtnBe the first point of contact for all inquiries related to policy, procedure, payroll and general informationnSupport with the management of the shared HR inbox escalating queries where appropriatenCoordinate the monthly company induction for all employeesnSupport the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring that these are up to date and relevantnProduce and check contracts, letters, policies, and other HR documentationnSupport the management of the Annual Mandatory Training plannSupport with all HR activities including Learning & Development, Performance and Rewards & BenefitsnUsing HR data to provide reports and dashboardsnBe responsible for maintaining and updating data on the HR systemnAny additional duties as required from the HR Business Partners or Head of HR

RecruitmentnSupporting the recruitment and selection process where appropriate

PayrollnEnsure all payroll documentation is collectednSupporting the Payroll specialist as required

Personal Attributes & ExperiencenPrevious Banking/FS experience is desirable but not essentialnProven experience in managing work from multiple stakeholders to agreed deadlines/SLA'snStrong attention to detailnExperience in working with 3rd party suppliers such as outsourced HR services, payroll providers, recruitment agencies, benefit providers and LinkedInnCommercial understanding of the business and how HR can support the requirements of stakeholdersnAbility to plan ahead to provide proactive HR support to the businessnPragmatic, diplomatic, and a good team playernStrong interpersonal skills, working effectively at all levels of the organization
