Enhancement and Engagement Co-ordinator

The purpose of this post is to develop curriculum enhancement activities working in conjunction with the curriculum teams.
The post holder will also build a strong reputation of the services provided by Bradford college within the local community.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify, develop, and implement new and innovative approaches towards enhancement of curriculum
- Work with curriculum area teams and Tutorial Interventions Officers to ensure that each programme has an employerrelated project / activity focusing on skills development relevant to the industry
- Facilitate and coordinate the learning environment spaces working with the curriculum teams, students and employers
- Lead on skills competitions and challenges within the department
- To develop new opportunities through development of networks and actively engaging with employers and community
- Deliver on enhancement targets as agreed by the Head of Department
- Develop and maintain social media presence to promote the curriculum and commercial service offered within the department
- To participate in the maintenance and promotion of close links with employers
- Contribute to course development and the development of new programmes of study demonstrating an inclusive and collaborative approach to delivery
- Contribute to outreach and/or widening participation activity within the department
- Report progress of curriculum engagement activities to SPLs and mangers. Use Navigate as a tool to capture students' learning and experiences
- Proactively contribute to the success and vision of the department
- To be responsible for student discipline, counselling and guidance related to all assigned sessions/activities
- To ensure the student voice informs curriculum design (NSS/Student council/SOCS etc)
- Lead on completion of student perception surveys
- To lead on the student rep and student voice conferences

Education & Training
- A L3 qualification
- GCSE 49 (A*c) or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in maths or equivalent (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A-C)
- GCSE 49 (A*c) or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in English or equivalent (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A-C)
- Experience of working with college students aged 161
- Experience of working in a target environment and able to demonstrate results
- Excellent IT skills including familiarity with a range of social media platforms
- Experience of working collaboratively in a large and diverse team
- Ability to work effectively, independently with a proactive mindset
- Ability to prioritise, schedule and monitor tasks to completion
