Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at Co-op Academies Trust, supporting academy schools in the region. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a crucial role in driving school improvement and culture change through professional HR advice and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site HR colleagues to ensure excellent HR practice within the academies
  • Provide proactive HR advice and support to senior leadership teams across six academies
  • Review and implement HR strategies to drive staff absence management and engagement/retention outcomes
  • Manage complex employee relations cases and trade union relations
  • Facilitate organisational development and upskill line managers in HR management practice

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Depth and breadth of experience advising and delivering on a wide range of employee issues
  • Pragmatic team-player with great organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive work forward
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence the work of others
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and resilience
