  • We are seeking a skilled HR Leader to become part of our team, providing support to academy institutions in Bradford, Leeds, and Kirklees.
  • Your role will be pivotal in fostering school advancement and cultural transformation through professional HR guidance characterized by 'high challenge, high support' across the entire employee lifecycle.
  • This position entails leading on-site HR personnel to ensure exemplary HR practices within the academies, while actively collaborating with senior leadership teams across six academies.
  • You will work closely with the Regional Director, Executive Headteachers, and Headteachers to evaluate each academy's HR strategy and assist in implementing necessary changes.
  • We are looking for an individual who can significantly influence staff absence management and enhance engagement and retention outcomes.
  • Your responsibilities will also include managing intricate employee relations matters and trade union interactions, facilitating organizational development, and enhancing the HR management skills of line managers.
  • Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be an integral member of our broader Regional HR Manager team, collaborating across our organization to support casework, deliver training, shape our policies and procedures, and lead various HR initiatives.
  • This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone aiming to expand their HR expertise within a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent), you should possess extensive experience in advising and addressing a wide array of employee issues, including absence management, recruitment and retention, and complex casework, particularly within the public sector.
  • A pragmatic team player with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive initiatives independently, you should be capable of building strong professional relationships and influencing the work of others, while being flexible, self-motivated, and resilient.
  • While primarily based in the Bradford/Leeds area, occasional travel to other academies may be necessary.
  • Having your own transportation is preferred, and a willingness to travel and work flexibly is essential.
