Being a Care Coordinator is about more than just rota management.

You will be responsible for supporting the Manager with Business Growth and ensuring we are always delivering the highest possible standard of care.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Rostering staff to provide a safe & efficient delivery of service to our clients.
  • Monitor community care workers & carry out supervisions.
  • Liaise with other professionals involved in the service users care.
  • To support and / or be included in the On-Call service during out of hours.

Skills and abilities:

  • Able to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative
  • Skilled logistics
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of domiciliary care provision.

Preferable:

  • Have or be willing to work towards a QCF (NVQ) level 2 or 3 in Care or equivalent.
  • Domiciliary Care experience.

Required:

  • IT skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Personal Qualities:

  • Pleasant, helpful, good concise telephone manner with customer focus
  • Flexibility to cope with changing demands and priorities
  • Calm under pressure
  • Own transport essential
You must be able to use our software based system, outlook and word. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Ideally, we are looking for an individual who has experience in Administration and Rostering systems.

There will be a requirement for participation in the on-call rota; being prepared to cover calls in the community in the event that you are unable to arrange alternative cover.

Applicants must be 18+ to provide personal care and companionship
Full UK driving licence is essential
Mileage allowance, Pension, Holiday Pay, 28 days holiday includes Bank holidays.
