About the Role: Registered Mental Health Nurse at Cygnet Nield House

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Cygnet Nield House. This 29-bed mental health hospital provides specialist services for women, with two distinct wards offering specialized care:

  • Clarion Ward: A 14-bed complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder and co-morbid disordered eating.
  • Compton Ward: A 15-bed acute service for women, providing a safe and stabilizing environment for those experiencing an acute episode of mental illness.

As an RMN at Cygnet Nield House, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and observations.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administering medications safely and effectively according to healthcare procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitoring and managing resident well-being, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of services through audits and quality initiatives.
