Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate outbound sales calls to prospective clients and follow up on leads to establish client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to gain valuable insights and create well-qualified leads with them to enhance your prospecting efforts and accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Prospecting, lead generation and setting up meetings will be your primary focus, however this role has great progression opportunities so you will also be exposed to the sales process from start to finish.
  • Be a confident hunter that uses a multi-pronged approach when reaching out to clients via cold calling, emailing, using social media platforms, and attending exhibitions/events, if required.
  • Articulate Metro's value proposition to generate curiosity and interest among potential customers then book meetings for the sales team.
  • As you start to also develop an understanding of Metro's services and value proposition, you have the potential to progress your career into Business Development or Key Account roles.

Job & Candidate Requirements:

  • Working Hours are Mon – Fri 8.30am-5pm, preferable office based but hybrid considered.
  • Professional-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal and being IT literate.
  • Confident cold caller with charisma, energy and professional telephone manner
  • Self-starter who is driven by new challenges and hitting their KPI's
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is advantageous.
