First Intuition Limited is a fast-growing outstanding provider of accountancy training and apprenticeships. As part of our ongoing growth, we now require a new HR Reward & Payroll Officer to support our teams across the UK. This role is remote, and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK - right to live and work in the UK is essential. There will be regular travel involved - occasionally to a local FI centre, and once a month to one of our central London centres. Job summary: Reporting to and working closely with the HR Operations and Systems Manager, the HR Reward & Payroll Officer is a key role within the UK HR team, with a wide range of administrative and support duties. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and compiling all administration and submission of our payroll for employees across the UK, in partnership with our payroll provider. You will ensure accurate, timely payment of salaries, pensions, and benefits. Additionally, you will provide support for payroll, reward and general HR queries - from both internal and external stakeholders. You will also support the HR Management Team with reward, recognition, salary and pay award activities and project work throughout the year, compiling and providing reports on reward data. The ideal candidate will have professional knowledge of HR and payroll systems, PAYE tax requirements, and HR and payroll administrative support. Experience working with a third-party payroll provider would also be an advantage. An enhanced DBS check is a requirement for the role, in line with our safer recruitment processes and safeguarding due diligence. Duties and responsibilities to include:

• Managing and compiling the payroll submission for all First Intuition Limited Group business areas, in partnership with our payroll provider

• Managing preparation of pensions and benefits payments

• Responding to payroll, pension and benefits related queries

• Responding to HR queries (for example relating to employee records, annual leave, sickness payments etc.)

• Provide administrative support for the employee onboarding process (for example drafting employee contracts and setting up new employees in our HR system)

• Maintaining accurate employee records, including annual/sickness/unpaid/family-related leave policies and payments

• Providing reward data and compiling reports

• Any other reasonable duties as required within the HR and payroll remit Requirements Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing / submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of HR administrative support
  • Experience of working with a third-party payroll provider (preferable)
  • Proficiency in using payroll software
  • Knowledge of payroll/pension/benefit tax and legislation and regulations
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with changing priorities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
