To play a crucial role in reaching the JG operational target of 'on time in full every time', ensuring that all dispatches are processed accurately, on time and with the correct export & delivery documents.


The role will support the dispatch team as well as our customers and suppliers, through day to day shipping activities, using a number of courier portals, as well as more complex enquiries to meet our customer requirements.


The role will involve shipping to and collecting from UK & international addresses and will require completing all the supporting paperwork such as commercial invoices, certificate of origin and packing list.


Clear and proactive communication to our customers, couriers and suppliers will be vital to ensure that deliveries are received on time.


Responsibilities/Duties:

Booking overnight dispatches on courier system
Liaising with couriers making collections/deliveries
Manage the dispatch inbox and resolving internal & customer or supplier queries.
Booking worldwide shipments and completing all export documents
Resolving any export document queries with couriers

Skills/Attributes required:

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (Written and over the telephone), Customer orientated attitude. Ability to work well under pressure. Attention to detail, excellent time management and organization skills.
Working as a Team is crucial. Exposure to operations and sales functions will be an advantage as this role will liaise closely with both departments.
Sound knowledge of logistics processes.
Excellent attention to detail with a positive attitude and helpful disposition.

Education and experience required with Microsoft Office

Certifications/Licenses required:
Counter balance license would be desirable but not essential.

Hours are 7:30 - 4:30, Monday - Friday.

Holiday: 21 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown period
