Job Purpose:

To operate processing and production lines to ensure maximum productivity is achieved. Ensuring safety, health, environment and risk (SHER) and Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) is followed at all times. To ensure all procedures are followed according with company policy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To efficiently operate all bagging systems as required including bulk bag systems, automatic palletising and manual bagging system.
  • To ensure SHER and FSQ is adhered to at all times.
  • To assist with operating and clean downs of cleaning lines as required.
  • To ensure cleanliness of working area.
  • To use forklift to assist in the smooth efficient operations.
  • To ensure seed treatment quality is continuously assessed and monitored.
  • Any other tasks requested in line with requirements.

Abilities, Skills and Experience:

  • Responsible, reliable and hard working.
  • Should be able to work independently and with others.
  • Fork lift licence essential
  • Good communication skills, being able to build working relationships.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, particularly in peak periods.
  • Ability to work towards deadlines.

Environmental - ISO14001

  • Undertake daily tasks in line with requirements of the Company's Environmental Management System (EMS)
Seek and provide ideas to improve company performance in accordance with the EMS.
