Bounce have partnered with a customer who's mission is to safeguard communities from the dangers of the internet and ensure safe, accessible online experiences for all.


As they experience rapid growth, they are in need of a seasoned technology leader to help scale their products while simplifying and stabilizing the technology stack.


SummarynWe are seeking an exceptional technical leader with extensive experience in high-throughput networking and filtering technologies (e.g., Cloudflare, Squid Proxy, commercial filtering/proxy solutions).

In this role, you will collaborate closely with existing Technical and Product leaders to steer the technical vision of the company, ensuring the scalability and reliability of systems and driving innovation to support continued growth.

As part of the overall business leadership team, you will also help guide the company toward achieving its mission.

Responsibilities:

nTechnical Leadership:
Offer strategic technical direction to senior leadership, ensuring technology initiatives are in sync with business goals

nInfrastructure Architecture:
Develop, implement, and sustain scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure solutions, focusing on high-throughput networking and filtering technologies

nTeam Management:
Guide both internal and outsourced development teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects while promoting a culture of clear processes, effective stakeholder communication, and collaboration

nProcess & Documentation:
Champion the creation and maintenance of standardized processes and documentation throughout the company, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and knowledge sharing

nStakeholder Communication:
Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership, developers, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless communication and alignment on technical initiatives

nInnovation & Strategy:
Identify opportunities for innovation, analyze market trends, and formulate strategies to maintain a competitive edge in this industry

nSecurity:
Ensure compliance with modern security best practices.

Requirements:

nTechnical Leadership Experience:
Demonstrated success as a CTO or in a similar technical leadership role

nTechnical Expertise:
Deep understanding of high-throughput networking and filtering technologies (e.g., Cloudflare, Squid Proxy, commercial filtering/proxy solutions).

nLeadership Skills:
Proven capability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and effectively prioritize tasks

nCommunication Skills:
Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

nProcess-Oriented:
Strong commitment to establishing and maintaining clear processes and documentation across the organization.

Nice-to-Haves:nCloud Expertise:
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

nProvisioning and Configuration:
Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet

nDevOps Knowledge:
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Agile development methodologies

nSecurity Awareness:
Understanding of security best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
