Role DescriptionnThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities and providing strategic financial guidance to the PRI Group and to Executive Management.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a full-time on-site role at our headquarters in Kigali, Rwanda.

As the CFO, you will be responsible for:


Leadership and strategic direction of the Finance department;nAccurate Financial Statements (IFRS) and compliance with regulatory requirements;nLeading and coordinating the Business Planning function for the development of realistic financial goals for the Group;nAccurate financial and related performance reporting against budgets and goals;nSupporting the organisation in achieving its financial goals and objectives;nFoster a climate of sound financial management throughout the Group;nManage treasury functions, risk management, and cash flow;nImplement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls;nMentor and lead finance team members;nCollaborate on cross-functional initiatives and strategic decisions;nTake a leading role in investor relations activities.

Minimum Qualifications and experience


10+ years post-qualificationnExperience of finance leadership.nBachelor's degree in finance or related field; CPA; Chartered Accountant, or Master's degree preferred.nMining industry experience would be an advantage.


This is an exciting CF0/Management Team opportunity in a company that has just completed its initial capital investment phase in Rwanda for mining and refining and has now begun commercial operations.
