Baker Charles are currently working with a growing Private Equity backed Drinks Company known for innovative drinks to help source a CFO to support the further growth of the company.


Position Overview:


The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and playing a pivotal role in strategic planning and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the beverage or consumer goods industry, along with significant experience in fundraising and capital management.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Management:

nDevelop and execute the company's financial strategy to support business growth and profitability.nProvide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification, and revenue/expense analysis.nLead long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company's strategic plan.


nFundraising and Investor Relations:


nIdentify and secure funding opportunities, including equity and debt financing.nDevelop and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.nPrepare and present financial and operational information to current and potential investors.


nFinancial Operations and Reporting:


nOversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.nEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.nImplement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.


nRisk Management:


nIdentify and manage financial risks, ensuring the company's assets and earnings are protected.nDevelop risk management strategies and processes, including insurance coverage and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


nTeam Leadership and Development:


nLead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.nRecruit, develop, and retain top talent within the finance department.


nOperational Efficiency:


nOptimize the company's financial performance by analyzing operational efficiency and recommending improvements.nOversee the implementation of new financial systems and technology to streamline operations.


nQualifications:


nFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)nMinimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within the beverage or consumer goods industry.nProven experience in fundraising, including equity and debt financing is essentialnStrong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.nExceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.nDemonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
