At Severn Wye we deliver a range of energy efficiency advice services to householders as well as administer grant funding on behalf of our funders.

Team members work in a variety of roles delivering targets to fit internal and funders' reporting schedules. Keeping track of activity, reporting and analysing data and supporting delivery across these projects is vital to their success. This is where you come in.

The role is focused on supporting our Energy Advice services in Ceredigion.

As project support officer, you will support the smooth running of these services on a day-to-day basis including maintaining spreadsheets, collating data and liaising with project partners.

This is a role well-suited to an organised individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for social wellbeing and environmental sustainability.

Public interest in sustainable energy, climate change and low-carbon development is growing every day.

This role will include

  • Supporting the smooth operation of our energy advice services.
  • Anticipating issues and identifying solutions, agreeing these with the project team and implementing them for the benefit of the team/project.
  • Taking responsibility for quality assurance and monitoring systems.
  • Keeping accurate, organised and efficient records, in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Completing data entry on our CRM, searching for and updating client details and other records.
  • Supporting the Energy Advice Manager (Wales), in preparation for meetings at all levels, including, note taking or other supporting roles as required.
  • Assisting the Energy Advice Manager (Wales), with quarterly reporting on targets and scheme delivery.
  • Supporting the development of opportunities to extend and enhance existing partnerships with other organisations.
  • Offering support for the development and establishment of similar projects in other geographical areas in Wales.

  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels and from all backgrounds.

  • Working with partners/other agencies and developing positive and meaningful relationships with partners.
  • Being able to communicate in Welsh.
