How it works


As a relief worker you will not be obliged to commit to work a set number of hours a week.

You can work flexibly to suit you, selecting your own shifts from the shifts available.

These positions are ideal for individuals with other commitments or someone who wants to try something new. It gives you the chance to feel you are making a difference on a daily basis.

Your manager will offer shifts in your preferred location with as muchnotice as possible but you might be contacted on an ad-hoc basis when shift cover is needed.

As such, the hours may not be guaranteed.

Shift patterns can be varied and can include waking nights, evenings, weekends, sleeps ins and day shifts.

Scheme Support Officer (Relief):


As a Scheme Support Officer, you work alongside Project Workers in delivering a housing related support service to our clients residing within Pobl projects.

You will work in our supported accommodation scheme giving 1 to 1 and group support with our Project Workers.

You will be the first point of call for our clients to offer advice and guidance to them with issues such as homelessness, younger people support,substance misuse, mental health, offender services & complex needs.

You will also be involved in daily activities with teaching the people we support essential life skills. You will complete wellbeing and Health and Safety checks. And manage incidents andcrisis calmly and effectively.

Shift patterns can be varied and can include waking nights and sleep ins and lone working may apply.

Floating Support Worker (Relief):


As a Floating Support Worker, you will be empowering people by equipping them with the skills required to be able to manage their home independently.

This will involve supporting them with budgeting, benefits, their health and wellbeing and household management.


You will work with people in their own homes and also provide ongoing tenancy support to those at risk of homelessness by offering advice and guidance on housing legislation and benefit systems' to include virtual support may also be offered.

As such you will be required to have access to a car and a driver's licence, alongside business insurance


Working patterns tend to be weekdays, however there maybe requirements for weekend and evening dependant on the need of the clients.

Lone working will apply.

Project Worker (Complex needs) (Relief)
As a Project Worker (Complex needs), you will engage and interact with the people we support. You will write and follow a support plan for the people we support. Deliver workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing. Liaising with externalagencies to arrange multi-disciplinary meetings. You will Lead each shift by managing the service. Complete wellbeing and Health and Safety checks for the young people and building. Manage incidents and crisis calmly and effectively. Address any additionalneeds, the people we support might have

- £10.05 Scheme Support Officer, £11.01 Floating Support Worker, £12.80 Project Worker (Complex Needs)
