Mobile Services Support in Llandrindod Wells

To provide a front line service in line with Powys Council policies and procedures, covering permanent caretaker's absences, covering post runs during staff absences, delivering adhoc cleaning works, assisting with delivering adhoc training schedules and BICSc training.

About you:

  • To be able to travel independently throughout Powys and occasionally neighbouring authorities
  • To have a flexible approach and be competent in delivering these services throughout various locations and types of buildings / schools in Powys and other Counties to a consistent standard.
  • To be able to carry out visual and written risk assessments and identify risk such as sharps or body fluids and raise all health and safety concerns. Carrying out a hygiene clean of houses, bungalows, flats and sheltered accommodation, to include the cleaning of appliances, sinks, work surfaces, toilets, urinals, hand basins, mirrors, bath and shower areas, skirting's', ledges, sills, walls and floors. This may include the removal of blood and faeces or following the passing away of an occupant.

What you will do:

  • To complete all on site documentation as required and all necessary paperwork and sending to the office as required
  • To collect/deliver furniture to locations through-out the authority
  • To assist in garden clearances/or redecoration of properties through-out the authority.
  • To co-operate with your employer and follow health and safety advice and instructions
  • To assist in house clearances/or redecoration of properties through-out the authority.

Salary: Grade 6 Point 11 to Point 14 £25,979 to £27,334 per annum £13.46 to £14.16 per hour
