Job Title: General Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Practice Manager to join our team at Llandrindod Wells Medical Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the practice and ensuring that it operates efficiently, effectively, and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the practice team
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve practice objectives
  • Manage practice finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Oversee human resources, including recruitment, training, and staff development
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including NHS Wales and statutory obligations
  • Represent the practice at local and national meetings, and engage with stakeholders to promote the practice's interests
  • Develop and maintain effective communication systems, including IT and data management
  • Monitor and evaluate practice performance, and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Professional management qualification or relevant experience
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Previous experience of managing a team, including financial management and HR
  • Project management skills, including the ability to delegate and prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
