Under the Utmost Wealth Solutions brand we provide sophisticated insurance solutions as a wealth structuring tool for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. Our Utmost Corporate Solutions business is a leading provider of specialist group risk solutions to the Irish corporate market. Our range of products includes Group Life Cover, Group Income Protection and Group Critical Illness Cover. We are the Generali Employee Benefits Network partner for Ireland and for all multinational companies and captive clients.
Job Purpose
- To contribute to the Proposition Management and Development (PMD) function of Utmost Wealth Solutions by partaking in product development & product enhancement, including pricing, design, profitability, market position and analysis of new opportunities, in conjunction with other areas of the PMD function.
- To communicate and liaise with relevant staff for product development, including the evaluation of ideas and suitability of recommendations.
- To carry out, or provide actuarial support for, investigations of both internal and competitor data for product development work including product changes in the market.
- To provide actuarial support to quotes, illustrations, past performance figures and other marketing aids in order to meet business targets.
- To provide actuarial support in the development and maintenance of quotation and illustration systems and to provide non-standard quotes and illustrations
- To support Sales and Operations with product technical queries.
- To assist in monitoring the ongoing performance of products including target market suitability, profitability, persistency, competitiveness, etc;
- To assist in liaising with the Actuarial department to agree methods and assumptions for pricing and profit testing.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours
- Currently studying for Actuarial/Maths degree with intention to progress with the actuarial exams after college;
- Strong computer skills including some or all of the following: MS Excel, Word, Access; Visual Basic; Iris-C; SQL;
- Attention to detail and accuracy. Take pride in, and responsibility for, the quality of your work;
