About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Director to lead our central pricing function and drive strategic pricing improvements across the organization. As a key member of our Group Finance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Identify and communicate key pricing strategies, themes, and initiatives that support our business objectives, informed by market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs.
  • Team Leadership: Determine the required pricing team to deliver our long-term pricing ambitions and manage and develop the team to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • High-Impact Projects: Identify and lead high-impact projects working closely with stakeholders within the divisions/product groups, ensuring projects achieve desired impact and outcomes.
  • Pricing Capability Building: Build the infrastructure and processes that enable us to strengthen our pricing muscle, including sharing best practices, gathering market intelligence, and recommending systems and tools.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to gather, analyze, and interpret pricing data, providing regular reports and insights on pricing performance.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and report on progress vs. our pricing ambitions, running regular Pricing Steer Co sessions to keep the leadership team informed and raise any risks, concerns, or highlights.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and RevOps, and develop relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors and partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a top university, with a strong academic background. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and implementing pricing strategies in a B2B software environment, with consulting experience a plus.
  • Experience in managing others and leading high-performing teams.
  • Passionate about driving strategic pricing improvements and excellent project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate challenges and provide solutions.
  • Ability to work at pace and under pressure, with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
