Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our Sales & Marketing Team as a Cluster Sales Manager, FIT Wholesale located at Accor Hotels. The role will focus on maximizing revenue from all leisure travel segments - Wholesale, Tour Operator, DMC, Hybrid, FIT & similar business segments - through wholesale channels. The Sales Director will collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to develop and execute strategies that enhance our share, market presence and profitability across the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in the presenting and handling of all Leisure Sales and Marketing initiatives for a cluster of hotels.
- Maintain responsibility and execution for the contracting, negotiation and account management for all existing accounts.
- Prospect to successfully acquire new accounts in existing and emerging markets to maximize hotel's exposure while meeting and exceeding established revenue goals.
- Develop a cohesive alliance with Revenue Management and DOSM to determine best segment pricing strategy per property to drive occupancy and desired revenue/ADR.
- Develop and execute tactical leisure promotions, marketing campaigns and override agreements as needed to create brand awareness and drive new business.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a senior sales role managing multiple resorts preferably in USA.
- Strong knowledge of Tour Operator, FIT, Wholesale and Leisure segments.
- Passionate about hotel sales and goal driven.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, able to present self professionally at all times.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Must have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, innovative, organized, efficient and able to prioritize multiple projects while working with a team.
- Proficient in Windows Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.
