About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team at Lloyd's Register in Southampton, UK. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and simplifying our current pricing models, supporting the codified commercials program, and conducting thorough analysis of internal data trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behaviors to inform pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and simplify current pricing models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the codified commercials program by analyzing internal data trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behaviors.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Support the FP&A team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA) or qualified by experience or working towards qualifying.
  • Expert Excel skills.
  • Pricing Analyst experience working in an international multi-site and multi-currency organization.
  • Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large data sets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and assess complex and sometimes unfamiliar situations, visualize solutions, and see through to resolution and work effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
