We are seeking a professional colleague who:
- is a dedicated practitioner who demonstrates empathy and compassion
- has the ability to form strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
- has the ability to support families through challenging conversations and goal setting
- Is well organised and able to keep clear records
- Is able to conduct homevisits for safe and well checks and attendance purposes.
- experience of supporting children and families with emotional, behavioural, attendance and safeguarding needs;
- an ability to work closely with external agencies including Social Care, Early Help, mental health services, medical professionals and housing services
- experience of working with families who are in TAC, CIN and CP
- experience of dealing with sensitive safeguarding issues as DSL or deputy DSL
