Dr François Nel, a Reader in Media Innovation & Entrepreneurship associated with the Media Innovation Studio group at UCLan, is looking for a Project Co-Ordinator / Programme Officer for the group's wide range of research, teaching, and knowledge exchange activities.


To support the project lead and team delivering our flagship part-time, blended-learning postgraduate Journalism Innovation and Leadership Programme (JILeaders) aimed at news professionals worldwide, and the News Futures 2035 (NF2035) project, which is a participatory industry foresight study supported by the Google News Initiative.


We offer flexible working options that would typically include a minimum of one day a week in our office in Preston in addition to periodic events, conferences and three week-long intensive study blocks each year.

There may be the option of occasional national and international travel.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
