Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Management Office to lead our IM&T projects and promote performance and ongoing project delivery improvement within the organization. As a strategic leader, you will put into practice industry and company-wide best practices to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the People, Process, and Tooling capabilities serving EIT Demand & Change, and Programmes & Projects with a high-quality, robust PMO service.
- Create and amend PM functional procedures, and contribute to the Project Management Control functional council.
- Maintain a network of recognised experts that deliver expert advice in areas relevant to the organization's current and future needs.
- Drive the team while leading the oversight of programme/project governance, assurance, controls, and finances, monitor and report progress compared with the plan, and produce agreed deliverables.
- Oversee the project lifecycle management framework while assuring the application of Project management principles and appropriate Project development models.
- Engage at industry events to stay up-to-date on the latest Project Management and PMO tools and techniques.
- Capture and support the vision, mission, strategy, and roadmap for the EIT P&P team to deliver an outstanding service to the business.
Requirements:
- Relevant Technology, Professional, or Business degree, with proven previous experience as a PMO Manager, Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, Business Manager, or similar role.
- Experience in consultancy, technology, and/or manufacturing industries.
- Significant Team Management experience with internal and external reports.
- Proven experience driving PMO continuous improvement initiatives.
- A high level of expertise delivering PMO services at a senior level.
