An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic degree level registered health care professional to join the Bradford Endoscopy team and undergo one-year intensive training towards becoming a fully pledged Clinical Endoscopist.


The post holder will commence as a Band 6 Trainee Clinical Endoscopist and will progress to Band 7 and eventually progress to a full-pledged Band 8a provided all trainings are completed within the appropriate time scale and successful in completion of the Non-medical prescriber's course.


The post holder will assist in developing and promoting Clinical Endoscopist services in collaboration with the Clinical lead and Senior General Manager whilst working as an autonomous practitioner undertaking diagnostic and therapeutic investigations for patients requiring GI endoscopy procedures.


The post holder will be working towards providing specialist knowledge, investigation and treatment in the diagnosis, management and clinical care of patients with upper and lower intestinal disease in due course.


The post holder must be able to demonstrate experience of working as a registered health care professional with at least two years post registration experience with an in depth knowledge and understanding of the needs of the specific patient group and high level knowledge of BSG, GRS and JAG standards.
