Newcastle. Your role will involve supporting people in all aspects of their daily lives, including social and physical activities, personal care, and mealtimes.


Job specification

  • Assisting clients with various tasks and providing them with the necessary support.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist clients with their health care needs.
  • Assist clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, providing practical support and assistance with daily tasks.
  • Abide by all organization's policies, and regulations guiding the provision of care and support service.
  • Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Help clients with the logistics of attending appointments, providing transportation, and ensuring clients arrive on time.
  • Monitor and report any change in the client's physical or mental health to appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support to clients and their families.
  • Completion of at least a level 2 NVQ diploma in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with being organized, and can showcase excellent patient care.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
