About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. This is a substantive and full-time post, but we would be happy to consider applicants available on a part-time or fixed-term basis, or those seeking flexible working.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessment and Management
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for the clinical assessment and management of children and adolescents with mental health disorders. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our patients.
Treatment and AdministrationYou will be responsible for the management and treatment of mental health disorders in children and adolescents, as well as clinical administration and report writing.
Leadership and DevelopmentAs a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to lead in the management of referrals, effective multi-agency liaison with various relevant departments, and undertake local strategic management tasks as appropriate to the post.
