About the Role

This is a substantive and full-time post, but we would be happy to consider applicants available on a part-time or fixed-term basis, or those seeking flexible working.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessment and Management
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for the clinical assessment and management of children and adolescents with mental health disorders. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families.
Service Development and LeadershipYou will have the opportunity to contribute to service development and leadership, working closely with colleagues to improve patient outcomes and experiences. You will also have the chance to become involved in teaching and research, linked to Medical Schools at the Universities of Newcastle and Sunderland.
Administrative and Reporting DutiesYou will be responsible for clinical administration and report writing, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
