Job Description

We are involved in the design and construction of secure government facilities, international diplomatic shipping, protection of government technology, and much more. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to grasp their methodologies in designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing the technical systems that uphold the security of our governmental clients. The tasks are highly diverse, with each project and team assignment enhancing your expertise. Upon successfully finishing this program, which includes assessments to ensure compatibility and align your skills with each operational role, there's a high probability of a permanent job offer. You may engage in our Security Systems department, based in the UK but occasionally traveling abroad for project implementations of protective systems. Alternatively, you could become part of one of our Regional Technical Support Services Teams, residing and working overseas for up to four years, journeying across your designated area to offer technical assistance to our clients. Or, you might be designated to the National Authority for Counter-Eavesdropping, where your focus will be on countering and identifying technical eavesdropping attempts in the UK and beyond. Person Specification

The Trainee Technical Security Engineer program is inclusive to all, but you must: � Hold British citizenship, having resided in the UK for the past three years before your commencement date and for a minimum of five years within the last decade (unless you were stationed abroad on HMG duties) � Be at least 18 years old by 1 July 2024 to qualify for Developed Vetting (DV) clearance before you begin � Possess a minimum Level 3 Technical Qualification in any field involving electronics (considering candidates completing their qualifications within the next 2 months) � Display proficiency in IT and competence in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook � Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for engineering and technology � Have practical experience using basic engineering hand tools � Exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills � Show an interest in international travel � Be dependable, responsive, collaborative, and capable of forming relationships
