Attention to detail is imperative and you must be willing and able to perform a wide range of tasks.

The role includes:
Plumbing, electrical and joinery work, painting and decorating and Health & Safety responsibilities along with a myriad of other maintenance tasks so there is no lack of variety

We expect you to:

  • Carry out daytoday maintenance both inside and outside the hotels.
  • Keep the hotels in good decorative order.
  • Be familiar with basic plumbing and electrical procedures.
  • Attend to issues recorded in the maintenance book in a timely manner.
  • Carry out Health and Safety tasks (fire safety; legionella tests etc).
  • Liaise with other departments and outside contractors.
  • Have good time management and be able to work to deadlines.
  • Be willing to build on existing skills and knowledge.


You will have experience in all of the above, preferably with a background as a tradesperson or you will have been in a similar role already.

This is a permanent position and hours of work will vary between hrs per week. Weekend working may be required on occasion but this is not common.

Rate of pay is £ £12.00 per hour depending on experience.
