About the Role and Our Expectations

If you are enthusiastic about marketing automation and have experience managing Marketo environments, this role within our Marketing Operations team is for you. You will work with a dynamic team of six as part of the 40-strong Marketing and Business Development department, reporting directly to the CRM Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Marketo workspaces, templates, and integrations meet team requirements, collaborating with agencies when needed
  • Design and optimize the email marketing strategy in collaboration with the wider marketing team
  • Monitor and enhance email deliverability rates through effective segmentation strategies
  • Execute and manage daily tasks within the system, such as creating and managing forms, landing pages, and nurture programs
  • Analyze automation journeys to recommend optimizations
  • Collaborate with the CRM manager to integrate Marketo with the CRM and other platforms
  • Support lead generation initiatives, including lead scoring, nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing
  • Evaluate campaign metrics and conduct A/B testing for performance enhancements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement strategies for marketing automation
  • Provide first-line support to Marketo users and log system bugs for resolution
  • Develop strong relationships with the Marketing Operations and Business Development teams

Skills and Experience We Look For

  • Demonstrated experience in Marketo-focused roles, ideally within B2B professional or financial services
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Understanding of GDPR regulations and marketing automation best practices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with tools like PowerBI and Microsoft Visio is a plus
  • Knowledge of wider Marketing Technology such as CRMs and online event platforms is beneficial
