Role Purpose

Join our team as a Housing Management Officer at XYZ Company

To deliver a specialized housing management service focused on residents within a specific neighborhood, ensuring their needs are met and creating a positive living environment.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Providing efficient tenancy management and ensuring compliance with tenancy conditions.
  • Involving tenants and leaseholders in estate management services planning.
  • Collaborating with other housing departments and external partners to enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities

To educate tenants on their rights and obligations, ensuring adherence to all tenancy conditions.
To address tenancy breaches, manage squatters, handle successions, assignments, and escalate complex cases.
To investigate and address incidents of low-level antisocial behavior promptly and in line with policies.
Implementing early interventions to prevent risks to individuals involved.
Conducting initial visits to new tenants for feedback and clarification of terms.
Arranging follow-up meetings to resolve any arising issues, such as rent, repairs, and other tenancy concerns.
Conducting regular audits, utilizing business intelligence to identify subletting, and collaborating with internal departments for protection.
Contract

Initial contract for 3 to 6 months.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Payment through Umbrella PAYE.

Requirements

Experience in social housing management.
Familiarity with leasehold and tenancy management.
Engagement with residents through estate inspections.
Handling tenancy breaches effectively, including dealing with squatters.
Strong customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
